This manual is published in terms of Section 51 of the Promotion of Access to Information Act, 2 of 2000 (PAIA), as amended, and describes how members of the public may request access to records held by Harmony Integrated Services (Pty) Ltd.

2. Information Officer

3. Guide on How to Use PAIA
The South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC) publishes a guide, as contemplated in Section 10 of PAIA, describing the objectives of the Act and how to make requests for access to information. This guide is available from the SAHRC.
4. Categories of Records Held
- Company incorporation, registration and statutory records
- Financial and accounting records
- Employee and human resources records
- Customer, supplier and contractor records (invoices, quotes, orders, contracts)
- Product and quality/compliance certification records (SABS, ISO 9001:2015, SARTSMA, B-BBEE)
- Marketing and website records (this website's enquiry and order records)
Some records above are available on request via the process below; others are held for internal business purposes only and may be withheld in terms of the grounds for refusal set out in PAIA (e.g. commercially sensitive information, third-party personal information, or legal privilege).
5. How to Request Access to a Record
Requests for access to a record must be made in writing to the Information Officer using the contact details in Section 1 or 2 above, and should include:
- Sufficient detail to identify the record requested
- The requester's full name, contact details, and form of access required
- The right being exercised or protected, if access is required to exercise or protect a right
- Proof of identity of the requester (and authorisation, if requesting on behalf of another person)
A prescribed request form may be required and applicable fees (request and access/reproduction fees) may apply in terms of the PAIA Regulations.
6. Response Timeframes
Harmony Integrated Services will respond to a valid PAIA request within the timeframes prescribed by the Act (generally within 30 days of receipt, subject to any permitted extension).
7. Grounds for Refusal
Access to a record may be refused on grounds set out in PAIA, including protection of privacy of third parties, commercial confidentiality, and legal privilege, among others set out in the Act.
